Well I learnt my lesson from the previous door, and in this case took the door off and laid in on trestles. Which makes the whole job of removing the paint so much easier. Now there is one minor problem, the trestles I have are probably 6" to a foot to short as a result I have to bend over slightly while stripping the paint. This wouldn't be an issue (I guess) but for a person of my advancing years (I'm 21, well I was 28 years ago) I get quite bad back ache after about half an hour of bending over, I try as much as possible to strip the paint stood totally upright but even so I end up bending over at some point.

It also appears that this door is made of a different wood to the previous one, I think it's pine and as a result it becomes charred quite easily if you leave the heat gun on one part for too long.

Looking at all the doors in the house, they all look like this one, so the other door is/was clearly a one off.

The paint was relatively easy to remove, no thick black paint or even green paint on this one.

As part of the stripping process, I cut down the door so for the first time as far as I can remember the door now closes fully and without catching on the carpet or gripper rod.

Not really much to say here, this is simply the other side of the door, and I didn't quite get to finish it over the weekend.
