Well it might not look like much had been done from the previous update on stripping the door, but there was quite a bit of work done to get to this stage, removing the rest of the paint off the door took some time, and then I started on the door frame, obviously you can only see the side of the frame facing into the room, however I'd also stripped the inside of the door frame, which for the most part was pretty straight forward, however for some reason parts of the door frame appear to have been coated in a thick black sealant or something similar, and are a nightmare to do, the top coat of white paint comes off really easily, but underneath there remains this black coating which becomes runny enough when the heat gun is applied, but you just can't remove it all, and once the paint stripper is away from the heat gun the black stuff (can't think of a better word) starts to harden immediately and becomes really difficult to remove from the paint stripping tool, so much so I have to cut or file it off the tool.
